Search, sales, print, and a few tech/AI skills nobody asked for. All of it self-taught, which is mostly why I’d rather keep going than stop here. I love a good challenging project.

What I can do for you
I can work out what your customers actually type into Google, restructure a site around it, and grind rankings up over months rather than weeks.
I use AI every day across research, writing, analysis and automation, and I understand it well enough to know where it genuinely helps and where it quietly makes things worse. When something needs building I can go as deep as custom MCP servers and agents. Most of the value, though, is knowing which problems to point it at.
I’m comfortable on a first call, a site visit, or an awkward follow-up. I’m good at working out what someone actually cares about and talking to that instead of a script.
Brand-consistent print and digital collateral built to convert rather than just look tidy, then tested against real distribution to see what actually worked.

How I work
I have only ever had my own judgement to check my work against. I’d like to be somewhere I can work with people who have better judgement than mine and get sharper together.
If something is slow or manual or obviously broken, I find it very hard to leave alone. Most of what I know how to do started as something that was annoying me. Being proactive was a skill I had to naturally develop for my past work.
I care much more about being somewhere my work visibly changes something than about the size or the name of the company. I want to make a real difference in the company I am helping.
Three years ago I couldn’t rank a page, design a flyer, run a sales call, or build anything with an API. I learned each one because it needed doing and there was nobody to hand it to. Lately I have been learning things nobody asked me to learn at all, which I think says more.
So if you need me to learn something I’ve never touched, that’s genuinely the part of the job I’ll enjoy most. I’m far more interested in working on new things with people who know more than me than in doing only what I’ve already proved I can do. Though, that is also completely fine.

What I’m looking for
A team in Victoria, this fall.
I’m taking one course this semester, so I have real time to give. I lean toward smaller teams where I’d own something outright, but that is a preference rather than a requirement. If you’re a larger company with a role where I’d be genuinely useful, I would like to hear about it.
When
September to mid-December 2026. Full time or part time, and possibly continuing part time after.
Where
Victoria, BC. In person is a feature rather than a compromise. I learn faster around other people.
What
Marketing, sales, or anything AI-adjacent. Bonus if I get to build the systems as well as run them.
